Mission Statement
My long term mission is to produce a quality 75 minute long High Definition feature documentary (for theatrical release and distribution, and regional, national and international television broadcast) on Site 41 and Beyond. My short term mission is to produce a 5-10 minute promotional documentary on Site 41 and Beyond, as a communications vehicle to support the long term goals of the Site 41 and Beyond documentary project. In both productions I will represent the issues of the impact of landfill sites on waterways, lands, ecosystems and people and investigating alternatives to landfill sites and waste to energy solutions. In the short documentary, this analysis will focus on Simcoe County, and other parts of Ontario, with general references to other parts of Canada and the rest of the world. In the long form documentary, an in-depth analysis will be made of these areas and the issues involved. My commitment in doing so comes from my longstanding relationship with the countryside of Southern Ontario as a nature enthusiast and as producer of the two short documentaries Site 41: A Quarter Century Fight To Preserve Clean Water.
